MARSHALL - Services for Marilyn Elizabeth Nichols Mayo, 85, of Scottsville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Downs Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bruce "Ty" McKinnon officiating. Interment will follow in Algoma Cemetery North. Mrs. Mayo died February 13, 2008.
Born July 22, 1922, in Brownwood, she was a retired Post Master from Scottsville Post Office and member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Sheri Hataway; sons, Clifford "Buster" Mayo and Charles S. Mayo; and sister, Martha Louise Treadway.
