She was known as "The Cake Lady" while living at the U of U because she was always ready with a beautiful cake for every new neighbor, baby, sickness - any occasion was good enough for a delicious cake. Faun had a hunger for learning. Went back to school in her 40's and graduated at the top of her class. Went on to teach Spanish for 16 years at Olympus High School where she created friendships that lasted her entire lifetime. She also led tours to Mexico and Spain for students, family and friends for many years. She loved flowers and specialized in growing exotic iris. She was very good at flower arranging. Her specialty was loving people of all colors, kinds and descriptions. She had a gift at bringing out the best in people and she was always in favor of the "underdog". She was Relief Society President many times during her lifetime.
