Richard Drury Kincaid was born near Kirwin, Phillips Co. KS. He was the son of Joshua and Orpha Bradley Kincaid (Joshua's third wife). On August 24, 1904 he was united in marriage to Miss Lena L. King at Kirwin, Kansas. They were the parents of 14 children. The family moved to Allison, KS in January 1917.
He passed away in the hospital at McCook Nebraska May 1, 1943 at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 6 days from a lingering illness of asthma and complications.
