Dorothy M. Pletcher, 91, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a Teacher at Allen High School in Bluffton from 1935 to 1938 and Elmhurst High School from 1939 to 1944. She attended for one year the College of Southwest Exeter, England and then graduated from Western College for Women. She was a member of PEO Sisterhood, sustaining member of Fort Wayne Jr. League, Tri Kappa, Elizabeth North Circle and Trinity English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed handcrafts and cross stich. Survivors include daughters, Anna Lee Pletcher and Sara (Harold) Long, both of Fort Wayne; grandson, Brian Long; preceded in death by her husband, Louis Pletcher and brothers, James and Walter Sr. McComb. Services 11am Monday at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne Street. Calling 2 to 4 & 6 to 8pm Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Trinity English Lutheran Church.
