A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, 1998, in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Forest Grove for Theresa H. VanDyke, who died July 8 at age 93. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 12, in Forest Grove Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. VanDyke was born Jan. 27, 1905, in Greenville and lived in Roy and Beaverton. Her maiden name was Cop. She moved to a farm in Gaston in 1929 and later moved to Forest Grove. She was a homemaker and a member of the church. In 1926, she married Joseph T.; he died in 1987.
Survivors include her sons, Alvin of Cornelius, Vernon of Gaston and John of Woodbridge, Va.; daughters, Betty Meiwes of Springfield, Beverley Meeuwsen of Forest Grove and Janice Matias of Cornelius; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Forest Grove. The family suggests remembrances to the church or the Forest Grove Senior Center.
