Funeral services for Michael Brad AVANT, 16, were held Tuesday, January 14 at 4 p.m. in the Full Gospel Church of Perryton with the Rev. Henry McBrayer of the Corinth Baptist Church, Eldorado, OK and the Rev. Harrol Waterbury, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Ochiltree Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers.
AVANT moved to Perryton four years ago from Eldorado. He was a junior at Perryton High School.
He is survived by father, James of Perryton, mother, Mary of Weatherford, OK; two sisters, Pam CHISUM of Perryton, Jamie STEFFENSON of Weatherford, OK; a brother, Cary of Perryton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake STROUD and Mrs. Dorothy HELMS, all of Eldorado, OK
A Brad Avant Scholarship Fund has been set up at First National Bank in Perryton.
