Buryl H. Harrison, 94, of Climax, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022.
Buryl Higdon Harrison was born July 21, 1928, in Whigham, GA, the son of Leo & Eva Moore Harrison. He was a graduate of Whigham High School. Buryl married Martha Lee in 1948, and they lived 71 years together on their family farm in Climax. He was a farmer and livestock broker known to many in Southwest Georgia. Buryl was an active member of Climax United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his children, Keith & Cheryl Harrison and Elaine & Winston Moore; his grandchildren, Christy & Elliot and Billy; his great-grandchildren, Adison, Annalee, and Cole; his brothers, St. Elmo Harrison of Whigham and Ronald Harrison and his wife, Rhudeen, of Climax; and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, Buryl was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lee Harrison, and his brothers, Donald Harrison and Kermit Harrison.
