William Charles Ehrhardt, 72, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 5, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on July 27, 1950 to Robert Carl Ehrhardt, Jr. and Christine Freeman Ehrhardt in Shreveport, Louisiana.

William was a resident of Shreveport and was married for 40 years to his best friend, Nelda Dot Joyce Ehrhardt. "Mr. Persistent" never encountered a problem he couldn't think through and solve. He was a loyal, loving, kind and intelligent soul. He was an electronic technician by trade.

William is preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Dot, five children, J.R., Suzy, Rikki, Amanda and Kimberly; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

William will be terribly missed by his family and friends but will live on in our hearts forever. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana to celebrate William's life and reflect on memories of him.
