Vint was born March 7, 1910 to Ivar R. and Emily Dahlman on a farm near Swedeburg. As a child the family moved to San Diego, Calif. After her mother's death, the family returned to Nebraska and resided in Wahoo. She attended Wahoo High School, Luther College and the University of Nebraska.
She married Dan Brownell. The marriage ended in divorce. She worked in a law office in Lincoln. Dur-ing the war she worked in New York City. After the war she married Emmett Vint. They had one son, Michael, who died shortly after birth.
Graveside services were held Sept. 5 in Omaha with burial at West Lawn Cemetery.
