He was employed at the Ellwood Works of U.S. Steel. A World War II veteran, he served in the Army Air Corps. He was well known in the area for growing fruits and strawberries. He was a member of Faith Country Chapel.
Relatives: a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Greg Crans of Shenango Township; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Charlene Foreman of Volant; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Baker of Wampum and Gladys Peffer of Ellwood City; and two brothers, Gerald Foreman of Saxonburg and Earl Foreman of Virginia Beach, Va. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Foreman, Russell Foreman and Merle Foreman; and three sisters, Marion Himes, Elma Jean Heckathorne and Etta Whalen.
