She was born to Ludwig and Philippina (Schulthers) Alt. She married Lewis Linn, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Lorin, Celina; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Goldie) Fahncke and Mrs. Floyd (Oma) Bader, both Celina, and Mrs. Ora Maurer, Rockford; one brother; eight grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services were in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Liberty Township.
