Samuel Israel DeLuca, age 96, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Samuel was born January 29, 1925 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late Salvatore DeLuca and Santina DeLuca. He was preceded in death by his siblings Paul DeLuca, Carmelia Corey, Roberta Turano, Marguerite Bates and Rosemarie Genova.

Mr. DeLuca was a retired engineer and a veteran of the United States Army. He served in World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include a daughter Linda DeLuca Dees and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veteran Memorial Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
