Robert Lewis Hudgens, age 92, of Reno, Nevada passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was born May 26, 1930 in Reno, NV. Bob was a lifelong Reno resident. He graduated from Reno High School before joining the AirForce. After the service, he married his life-long partner, June Evans. He graduated from Woodbury University in Los Angeles with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he moved his family back to Reno. He started working at Harrah's Club in the accounting department and due to his attention to detail, Mr. Harrah promoted him to Vice President. He worked closely with Mr. Harrah on projects in Atlantic City, NJ, Orlando, FL and Middle Fork Lodge, ID until Mr. Harrah's death. After he retired from Harrah's Club, he managed property until shortly before his passing. He enjoyed the many visits from his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife of 69 years, June; his daughter, Leeanne Hemenway (Bob); five grandchildren, Jessica Knapp (David), Erica Werner (Donald), Robert Hemenway (Jill), Roy Hemenway (Brittany), and Joseph Hemenway (Joanna); and his 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Beatrice Hudgens; and sisters, Dorothy Doud and Patricia Hudgens. No service is planned. In lieu of flowers please donate to Wounded Warriors or the Humane Society in Bob's Memory.
