Brown was born 02-Oct-1913 at Rolla, Phelps county, Mo. to Charles Mosie and Susan Jett (Buffer) Brown. He came to Caddo county around 1928 with his parents. He married 28-Oct-1939 Naomi McGuire in Anadarko, Caddo county, Ok. They moved to Cyril after their marriage where he owned and operated Brown's Apco for five years. He then owned and operated the OTASCO store in Cyril for 17 years before
retiring in 1981. He was a former member of the Cyril Rotary Club and had served as president. He was a
member of the Cyril First Baptist Church for 51 years where he was a past Chairman of the deacons and
taught Sunday school.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, David Brown and his twin sister, Edith (Brown) Stidham. He was survived by his wife of the home, two daughters, five sisters, one brother, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
