He was an avid fisherman, as well as a talented gardener. He had faith in the Lord and enjoyed the simple things in life.
He is survived by his three brothers and their wives, Jack and Ida Beahr, David and Anne Beahr, and Wayne and Patricia Beahr; brother-in-law, Ellison Stanley; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
His stories and laughter will be greatly missed.
Family received friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, and where a funeral service was held at 3pm on Friday, February 15, 2008.
