Mrs. Betty Abrams, age 91 of Monroeville passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Mobile, AL. She was born on March 5, 1929 in Lamar County AL to Charley Otis Mordecai and Hessie Elizabeth Hutcherson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Aubon Clyde Abrams and sister Werana Mordecai.

Mrs. Abrams is survived by two sons Aubon (Brenda) Cylde Abrams, Jr. of Foley, AL and Stephen Ray (Kim) Abrams of Lula, GA; one daughter Elizabeth Besselaar of Hattiesburg, MS; seven grandchildren Kevin Abrams, Danny Abrams, Rebecca Abrams, Samantha Abrams, Sylva Tillman, Tracey Besselaar and Terry Besselaar; seven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; nephews Larry Abrams, Herschell Abrams, Ray Abrams and James Abrams; three nieces Linda Powers, Earline Adams and Ann Beltzer along with several cousins and other close family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 9AM to 10AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 10AM at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Shiloh Primitive Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
