David Wayne Allen was born October 23, 1958 in Wichita Falls, TX. He died Thursday, November 24, 2022 in Hospice care.
David was a great and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather (Papa).
David loved classic cars and going to car shows. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock and blues music. While raising kids he worked at Wosco, and Saia Motor Freight. After working long days he would head to football practice where he coached his boys. Not only did he work hard everyday, he was a wonderful father and coach. He often took his family to the lake and other wonderful places for vacation. He loved to fish and make sure his kids and family had a wonderful life. He made many friends over the years. Everyone that you talk to will tell you how wonderful of a person he was and what a pleasure he was to be around.
David is preceded in death by his father, Jeff Allen and his mother, Peggy June Turnbow Allen, and brother Randy Allen, and many other aunts and uncles.
David is survived by his wife Stacy Allen, daughter Cortney Allen, son David and wife Nicole Allen, and son Rex and wife Lorissa Allen. Also,his brother, Bobby Green. As well as nine beautiful grandchildren, Ross, Kamryn, David Randall, Jacob, Levi, Maddox, Corbin, Karsen, and Cayden.
David touched the lives of many people, and they will all miss him dearly. We will walk together again. Until then, rest easy Big Dave, also known as dad, brother, Papa, friend and of course, David Wayne Allen.
