Billy Ray Boulton, age 91 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at his residence.
His body is to be cremated and a family graveside memorial will be planned for a later date at Memorial Cemetery.
Billy Ray Boulton was born November 18, 1931 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Ray Boulton and the late Ruby Downey Boulton.
He married Betty Sue Oliver Boulton on August 9, 1990 and she preceded him in death in 2017.
He is survived by daughters, Rita Sue (Richie Fickle) Evans of Samburg, Tennessee, Terri Lee (Leo Duffe) Turner of Paris, Tennessee, Dana Lynn (Tim) Cox of Murray, Kentucky, and Lisa Darlene (Doug) Taylor of Buchanan, Tennessee; son, Michael Anthony Owen of Paris, Tennessee;
grandchildren, Luke Evans, Justin Owen, Shea Owen, Tommy Taylor, Jacob Cox, Tammie Heavener, Jeremy Cox, Leslie Evans, Matt Evans, Amanda Cox, Ryan Turner, Corey Turner, Scott Taylor, Dawn Turner and John Paul Boudreau; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and nephew, Gordon Boulton of Cookeville, Tennessee.
Mr. Boulton was a U.S. Army Veteran, retiring with the rank of Major. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier. Billy attended the University of Oklahoma and was a big OU sports enthusiast. He enjoyed growing various varieties of cactus in his greenhouse and formerly was a radio controlled airplane hobbyist.
