Susan M. Barr, 68, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2019 in UPMC Chautauqua Hospital.

She was born November 15, 1950 in Bradford, PA the daughter of Bradley L. Swatt Sr. and Nancy L. Wymer.

Susan was a graduate of Olean High School. She worked for many years at Joint Neighborhood Project, w as a legal secretary in Jamestown, and tended bar at various establishments. While living in Storm Lake, Iowa, Susan worked for their local newspaper.

She was a past member of the Ladies Monday Night Pool League. Susan was devoted to her family. She loved cooking and baking a big meal for her family and was well known for her lasagna.

She is survived by her mother of Jamestown; three children: Nancy Grose of San Antonio, TX, Bradley A. Swatt (Jill Welder), Grant Monroe both of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Libby, Scott, and James Grose, Trey and Noah Monroe; siblings: Bradley L. Swatt Jr. (Donald Anderson) of Jamestown, Sharon Beane of Irvine, PA, Mary Parr of Olean, NY, and James Swatt (Suzzane) of Castile, NY.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Swatt; her father, Bradley L. Swatt Sr., her step mother, Margie Swatt; a sister, Joyce E. Swatt; and a brother in law, James Beane.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the Lind Funeral Home.
