Ural C. Alley Rites Friday
Funeral services will be held at the Dunsford Chapel at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon for Ural C. Alley, 74, who died at Wesley hospital in Wichita. The Rev. Daniel E. Bailey will conduct the services. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Ural C. Alley was born Jan. 14, 1893 at Mercer, M., the son of William D. and Lettie Jane (Lowery) Alley. He was manager of the T.M. Deal Lumber Yard in Augusta until he retired in 1958. He lived at Akron, Colo., prior to coming to Augusta in 1921.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Albert Jackson of Augusta and Mrs. Pat Eckles of Dallas, Tex.; two brothers, Leonard of Princeton, Mo., and Marion of Washington, D.C.; a son-in-law, L.A. Knebler of Augusta; five grandchildren, Bill and Jane Knebler, Robert and Jack Eckels and Donald Jackson .
