He was born October 14, 1946 in Brunswick the son of Emerson and Evelyn (Gould) Osgood.
Glenn was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a Disabled American Veteran. Early in life he worked as an auto body repairman; later he worked as a carpenter, most recently at the Brunswick Naval Air Station until he retired at age 62.
He enjoyed being active, chopping wood, riding the tractor, snowmobiling, hunting, and boating. He had a deep appreciation for the Rangeley Lakes Region.
