Karen Dawn Reeves Cross, age 60, of Bluff City, TN passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at her residence. She was born May 18, 1959, a daughter of the late Gerald Robert and Martha Ellen Reeves, and she has lived all her life in the Bristol area. Mrs. Cross was a former employee of Dream Cleaning Inc. of Piney Flats, and she worked in the lunchroom at Bluff City Elementary School. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Sharon Leonard, and brothers, Ben Reeves and Fred Reeves. Surviving include her loving husband of 41 years, Gene Cross; children, Wesley Cross and wife Erica, Justin Cross and wife Megan, Joshua Cross and wife Mary Danille, Brandy Davis and husband Roy; eleven grandchildren, Matthew Cross, Clayton Cross, Jerry Cross, Haley Cross, Katlin Cross, Triston Cross, Chloe Cross, Caleb Cross, Jerry Davis, Gracey Davis and Kelseigh Cross; sisters, Rosie Davidson, Lisa Smith, Patricia Reeves, Geraldine Lady, Ernestine Whitaker, Pauline Spoon; brothers, Bill Reeves, Jerald Reeves, Tommy Reeves, Perry Reeves, Herb Reeves, and Midge Reeves; also, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The memorial service will be held 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in the Clayhill Freewill Baptist Church, 122 Hobbs Hollow Road, Blountville, TN with Pastor Bill Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church.
