Gary D. Hickey (Gray Fox) 62, passed away on July 3rd, 2020 in St. Augustine, Florida. He was born on February 23rd, 1958 in Lexington, Ky and lived in St. Augustine, Florida.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jacquelyn Amanda Hickey (Cherokee Rose); his mother, Geneva Henry; his father, Donald Ray Hickey, and two bother-in-laws, Dale Beam and Shawn Howell.
Gary leaves behind his three children, Daisy Barkalow, Gary Hickey, Jr. and Jacquelyn Hickey (Damien Barnes); eight grandchildren, Joseph, Emily, Lacey, Sierra, Nevaeh, Dylan, Keara and Keili; his siblings, Cindy Beam, Debbie (Eugene) Edwards, Angie (David) Rhorer all of Nicholasville, Ky., Don Hickey, Jr. (Kay), of Union City Ohio, Tammy Howell, Greenville, Ohio, Annettie McNeil (Brian) of St. Augustine, Florida, Amanda (Melvin) McRae of Lillington, NC, Ray Sims of St. Augustine, Florida, and step-mother, Linda Hickey of St. Augustine Florida. He will be missed by many friends especially those he considered family, Robin Josef, Jeffery, Donna, and Eric Meyer, Phil and Christine Canada & family, Joshua Ahlstrom, Charlene and Kenny Gatchell & family and Rebecca Pool.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with Dr. Clarence Blalock officiating. Interment will follow at Sampson Cemetery. In keeping with the CDC Coronavirus guidelines we will restrict the number of guest to 50% capacity during the service. We ask that if you are at high risk, feeling ill, or traveling from an area with a high level of infection, please do not attend the service.
