Reuben Russell
Newkirk - Reuben Russell, 1725 S. First street, Arkansas City, died at 6:15 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital.
The son of Orlando Russell and Eva Russell, he was born in Belton, Texas, on Aug. 8, 1895. He moved with his parents to Newkirk as a small boy.
On Oct. 10, 1958, he married Edith Johnson in Winfield and they have made their home in Arkansas City since that time.
Survivors include his wife of the home, one step-son Earl Johnson, San Diego, Calif., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services are pending and will be announced by Stahl Funeral Service Newkirk.
