Ruby Dick Godbey, 69 years of age, of Dayton, Ohio, departed this life on Friday, September 4th, 2015 at Sycamore Medical Center in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Ruby was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on November 7th, 1945, daughter of the late Adolphus and Aileen Gaddis Dick.
Ruby was survived by her loving husband, Floyd Godbey; two sons, Joe (and Lorraine) Godbey and Kirt (and Marcia) Godbey; one sister, Betty Wesley; two brothers, Bobby Ray Dick and Donald Ralph Dick; four grandchildren, Trent, Matthew, Eli, and Eva; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolphus Dick, who departed this life on January 23rd, 1990 and Aileen Gaddis Dick, who departed this life on November 30th, 2003.
Visitations were held after 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 7th, 2015 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating.
Burial followed in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
