Howard Martin Houchens

Howard Martin Houchens, 89, of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away Christmas day Thursday, December 25, 2008. He was born October 31, 1919 in Ottawa, Illinois to the late Margaret C.H. Bahusen Houchens & Albert Clark Houchens. Mr. Houchens owned Apex Heating, was a former resident of Blessing, and served in the US Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his son: Albert Fay Houchens of Oakdale, CA; 5 grandchildren: Kim, Kyle, Clint, Cole & Howard Martin Houchens; and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Houchens was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary Maxine Bitner Houchens in 1998; and son Howard Lee Houchens.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday January 6, 2009 at the El Campo Faith Center, 603 Burdette St., El Campo, TX 77437 with Rev. Thomas E. Cude officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing.
