Johanna was born on Nov. 26, 1928 and passed away on Jan. 21, 2018. She was a native Houstonian and a graduate of Reagan High School. She was a member of the Neo Debs and the Ladies of Sacred Heart for over 50 years. She was also a member of The Ladies Alter Society at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
Johanna is survived by her husband, Frank Petronella, Sr., whom she was married to for nearly 47 years; children, Lynda Van Staden, husband, Rich, Frankie Petronella, wife, Deborah, Bernard Petronella, wife, Kathy, Charles Petronella, wife, Gloria, Karla Addison, fiancée, Dennis Scheckenbach, Ronald Petronella, fiancée, Susan Baker, Mary Margaret Murray, husband, Mitch; grandchildren, Kellee St. Clair, Matthew Torregrossa, Paul Petronella, Nicco Garrett, Kristin Murray, Lucy Aleman, Dominick Petronella, Emily Murray, Jenna Petronella, Frankie B. Petronella and Brent Murray. Eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum, Houston. Rosary at 9:30 AM, Mass at 10 AM.
