Edwin Temple died at St. John's Hospital Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, of consumption, aged 47 years. He was born in Templesville, Md., and came to Springfield, where he had been in the employ of L.S. Ensel for the past fifteen years. He was an honest, upright man and had the confidence and respect of his friends and acquaintances. He leaves no family.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at St. John's Hospital.
