LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Ronald A. Greenwood, 58, died March 4, 2009, at Lawrence General Hospital. He was born and educated in Plymouth, N.H., the son of Clarence and Mary (Avery) Greenwood.

He was employed as a mechanic/clerk at the Internal Revenue Service and also worked part-time for the United States Postal Service as a rural route postman.

He was an avid reader, serious baseball fan, and he loved car shows, but his family was his real love.

Family members include his wife of 23 years; one son; one brother; nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. in Methuen. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church, Main Street, Plymouth, N.H., with a spring burial.
