He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed doing body work on cars, traveling, going to Pigeon Forge, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 4 brothers: Leonard Asher, Glen Asher, Les Asher, and Johnny Asher; 4 sisters: May Tuttle, Phyllis Asher, Janice Asher, and Wilma Barnes preceded him in death.
He is survived by his brother: Denver Asher of Flat Lick; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Walter Asher will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Reed Murphy officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
