Musician, Rapper. He is best known as a member of the iconic hip-hop group Migos, alongside his cousin Quavo and his nephew Offset. The trio burst onto the scene in 2013 with their hit single "Versace" and went on to become one of the most successful groups in hip-hop history. Takeoff was known for his unique style, his clever wordplay, and his effortless flow. He contributed to many of Migos' most beloved tracks, including "Bad and Boujee," "Stir Fry," and "Motorsport." Takeoff was also an accomplished solo artist, releasing his debut album, "The Last Rocket," in 2018. Takeoff passed away after being shot multiple times in the head and torso following a private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling in the GreenStreet commercial development part of Houston, Texas. An altercation broke out, and at least two guns were fired, leading to Takeoff's death. Houston police chief Troy Finner said that he did not believe Takeoff to be the intended target, and Takeoff's record label released a statement saying that he was killed by a "stray bullet."
