Peggy Annette Bullock Gill, 91, of Love, MS passed away June 7, 2022, at 11:02 am. She was born the daughter of Tollie and Annie Bullock in Piedmont, Alabama as the third of nine siblings. She was a beloved retired school teacher from Memphis City Schools. She was also an avid gardener who contributed her beautiful flower arrangements to her church for many years. She was an active member at Parkway Baptist Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church, both in Hernando, MS. Annette is survived by her daughters, Anita Gill Stewart (Charles) of Suwanee, GA, Donna Gill Shackleford of Love, and Tammy Gill Smith (Alan) of Love, son, Stephen Gill (Fran) of Southaven. Her grandchildren; Jamie Jenkins, Jesse Stewart (Kristi), Joshua Stewart, Gerald Clifford Shackleford Jr. (Jessica), Andy Shackleford (Kelsey), Trevor Smith (Kathryn), Austin Smith (Morgan), Aaron Smith, Anna Holbrook (Brice), Sarah Jenkins (Tyler) and Caleb Gill (Hannah). Great grandchildren; Valerie Stewart, Matthew Shackleford, Piper Shackleford, Ryder Smith, Baby Boy Smith, Adelynn Smith, Ezra Smith, Eloise Holbrook, Bennett Holbrook, Emelia Holbrook, Emmalynn Holbrook, Banks Holbrook Nora Jenkins, Finley Jenkins and Hudson Gill. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-seven years Donald Gill; sisters Shirley Smallwood, Janie Daughtery, and Willa Jo Estes; brothers Guy Bullock, Archie Ray Bullock, and Johnny Bullock; and son in law Gerald Shackelford Sr.
The family will be receiving friends Saturday, June 11th, from 11-12 pm with services beginning at 12 pm at Parkway Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Love Cemetery.
