Judy A. Markey, 68 of Dallastown passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 15, 2022. Born November 3, 1954 in York, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Nancy L. (Huson) Markey. Ms. Markey is fondly remembered for her witty personality. She loved spending time with family, especially playing cards. She also enjoyed music and drawing. Judy is survived by two siblings: Lisa M. Shenberger and her husband, Scott of Dallastown and Steve Markey and his wife, Wendy of Corinth, TX; two nieces: Lindsey Ornelas and her husband, Carlos and Jennifer Oliver and her husband, Kevis; two great-nephews: Esai and Aiden; her aunt, Mildred Henry; her uncle, Charles Huson and her half-brother, Ronald Markey and his wife, Mary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Rick Huson. A funeral service to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 22nd at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home; 104 W. Main St. in Dallastown with Pastor Nathan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Glen Rock. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10am until the start of the service.
