Arthur Stephen "Steve" Linn was born in Denison, Texas, on July 7, 1953, to parents Howard and Erlyne Linn. He left this Earth to join his Lord and Savior on November 10, 2022.

Steve was the youngest of two children alongside his sister, Ann. At the ripe young age of five, "Little Stevie" moved with his family to the Lakewood area of Dallas where the family owned and operated Howard Linn Clothiers, a men's clothing store on Knox/Henderson. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1971. He then met the love of his life, Saundra "Sandy" Klein, and they married on October 22, 1976. Steve and Sandy had the first of their two children, Cody, in 1983, and their second, Kelly, in 1988. Steve then went back to school with the express intent of fulfilling his life-long dream of becoming an attorney. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas and continued from there to law school, graduating from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law with his Juris Doctor. He founded the Law Office of Stephen Linn in 1997 and served his clients for over 25 years. His professional achievements included being given the honors of Attorney of the Year by the Dallas Bar Association, as well as the prestigious Frank Scurlock Award for outstanding pro bono work from the Texas State Bar Association.

Steve loved being outdoors in any form, from off-roading through the hills of Arkansas with his wife Sandy, to travelling in his motor home through the United States. He loved boating, particularly on Lake Ray Hubbard and Lake Texoma, as well as hunting anywhere he could convince a landowner to allow him (and sometimes even when they didn't). Later in his life, Steve's favorite pastime was spending time with his seven grandchildren at the family ranch in Stonewall, Texas. He had a life-long love of classic cars and built his pride-and-joy, a 1971 Chevy Chevelle, from the ground-up, which won him several awards at car shows. Although he loved all things Texas, including old Westerns and two-stepping to country music, he had a soft spot for Irish music. He never met a stray animal he didn't love and, ultimately, adopt. He had a deep devotion to God and Jesus, and he and Sandy were members of Munger Place Church. As a running joke to those that knew him well, whenever he was at fault for something, he never went down alone, and he always laughed when he was called out for it. Many knew him simply for his big hugs.

Steve is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Sandy Linn; his son and daughter-in-law, Cody Linn and Rachel Italiano Linn; his daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Linn Blue and CJ Blue; his sister and brother-in-law, Ann Linn Reed and Samuel Reed; his grandchildren, Navy Linn, Noble Linn, Rowan Linn, Seven Linn, Becket Blue, Hendrix Blue and Maddox Blue; his nephews Matt Reed and wife Annette Reed, Andrew Reed and wife Mine Reed, Robbie Husband, Bryan Klein and wife Phyllis Klein, Chris Klein and wife Teri Klein; his brother and sister-in-law Pat Klein and Bonnie Klein; his brother and sister-in-law James Klein and Sarah Klein; and his sister and brother-in-law Diane Klein Husband and Rick Husband.
