The open house celebrating the life of Anita Hartman of Bertha will be held from 10:00 until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, at the Domian-Anderson Chapel in Bertha. A Time of Remembrance and Prayer will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Anita, age 79, passed away of natural causes on November 2, 2022, at her home in Bertha, MN.

Anita Ellen Myers was born to Cashius and Alma (Gregg) Myers August 28, 1943, at Gordon, NE.

Family and friends found Anita to be a very humble person. She didn't believe she deserved the blessings she received in her life. She was a workhorse, working hard for everything she had. It was an especially happy day when she was able to purchase her first home! Anita lived her life for others, raising five children, doting on her pets and devoting her working life, and retirement, to assisting the aging communities in Todd County. She felt fulfilled when others had what they needed. She loved. She loved. She loved. Those who hurt her, she forgave. Those who helped her, she thanked. Those who loved her, she loved more.

Preceding Anita in death were her parents, Cashius and Alma; brother, Robert Myers; mother-in-law, Thelma Hartman; brothers-in-law James and Roger Hartman; and sister-in-law, Jerri Malmberg.

The interment of ashes will take place at the Gordon Cemetery in Gordon, NE at a later date.
