Jonathan Terrell Antron Jones, Sr., 29, of Cincinnati, Ohio departed this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He was born November 10, 1992 to James and Michelle Jones.
He was raised by his grandparents, Anthony and Yvette Maples. Red received his GED. He loved working on houses, cooking, and playing video games, and football with the kids. Red was a great, loving son, grandson, nephew, brother, cousin, and friend to everyone. He never met a stranger and was a people person to all. Red loved holidays, family reunions, or just spending time with family and friends. Red and Raquela have four children: Junior, Jonathan, Jr., Little Michelle, and Arianna. He loved them with all his heart! Red played games with them and took them everywhere.
Jonathan leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Michelle Adams; father, James Jones-Gains; stepfather, Terrance Williams; grandmothers, Yvette Drain Maples, and Jonnymay Gains; grandfather, Michael Lewis, Sr.; brothers, Joie Lewis ("Shy"), James, and William; sisters, Jamie Jones ("Q"), and Kim; great-uncles, Mark (Velda) Lewis, Ervin (Twaina) Lewis; great-aunts, Dot, Von, Kat, and Annette; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Christian Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church, 3060 Durrell Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45207.
