Cynthia Sue Gilmore Hunt, 56, of Robbins, N.C. died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her home.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Joyce – Brady Chapel in Bennett, N.C. .

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. Friday afternoon, at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins, N.C., with Rev. Jimmy Williams presiding.

Cynthia was born in Scotland County, N.C. in 1960, daughter of the late David Earl Gilmore and Gladys Marie Snead Gilmore. She loved working with flowers and had a passion for caring for children, and any friend or person in need. She was called "Aunt Cindy" by many regardless of kinship. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

She is survived by three sisters, Elaine Brady of Robbins, N.C., Debbie Williams and husband James of Cordova, N.C. and Bobbie Anne McBride and husband Mark of Cosby, Tn., one brother, David Earl Gilmore, Jr. of Southern Pines, N.C. and a host of friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, it was Cynthia's wish for food, shoes or clothing, to be given to a child or any person in need. Condolences may be offered online at www.joycebradychapel.com.
