Walker H. Baker, of LaFayette, NY, passed away in his home on February 3, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne Baker and was a devoted father and grandfather. Walker was an Army veteran and recipient of numerous commendations. He fluently spoke three languages and was well traveled. Not only did he live across the U.S. but across the world. He was an avid sky diver, an enthusiastic star watcher and a passionate sailor. d professor of geology. Kind heart and kind soul--without a mean bone in his body. We miss you.
