Estelle Lurenda Lane age 94 of Batesville died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born October 15, 1913 at Gid, Arkansas to Ewing and Mary Twilley. She was married to Ross Lane of November 9, 1933. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1966, five sisters Elsie Coleman, Zada Tate, Clara Tate, Eula Fay Jones and Frankie Lane and three brothers Alfred Twilley, Virgil Twilley and Jay Twilley.

Survivors include on son Delmas Lane of St. Louis, Missouri, two daughters Wanda Billins and Gail Page both of Batesville, one brother E. L. Twilley of Orangevale, California, two grandchldren, six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will begin Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Services in Batesville with Bro. Hoover Lewis, Bro. Glen Lewis and Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in teh Reeves Cemetery located near Guion with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Visitation will begin Tuesday February 12, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Donald Tate, Donnie Tate, Delmo Tate, Rayburn Tate, Greg Tate and Terry Tate.

Honorary pallbearers are Mickey Tate, Billy Tate, Dr. David Posey and Dr. Heath Showalter.
