PORTSMOUTH, England, June 29. - Sidney Preston Smith, A United States midshipman, died in the Royal Naval Hospital today of injuries suffered in a fall from a hammock aboard the American battleship Wyoming. The coroner ordered a post-mortem examination, which will be conducted tomorrow. Smith was treated in the Wyoming's sick bay until the warship left for Gothenburg, Sweden.
