Paula Springer Wells, 65, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008.
Graveside service: Noon Saturday, Feb. 16, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the home of Katy and J.D. Springer, 2908 Laredo Drive, Fort Worth.
Paula was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Fort Worth. She attended Lake Worth High School. Her many business ventures included a restaurant with her sister, Judy.
Paula and Hugh spent summers in the Rockies and she treasured vacations with sisters. A stunning beauty with an unforgettable voice, her class and love for her family will be cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Survivors: Husband of 30 years, Hugh Wells; daughter, Janet Markum Brown and husband, Michael; son, Chris Price and wife, Anna; sisters, Lexie Retzack, Judy Kelly and Lois Godfrey; brother, J.D. Springer; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
