Myron Robert "Chris" Christensen was born December 1, 1922 in Isabel, Dewey County, South Dakota, to Charles and Edith May Churchill Christensen. He moved west and lived in California. He had several children from his first marriage. His second marriage was to Eunice Naomi West, in Los Angeles, California, May 13, 1972. Chris and Naomi moved to Blue, Arizona where he was care taking a place. They lived there for several years. They got a chance to move to Apache Creek, New Mexico, where he worked for the Double Heart Ranch, doing building, repair work around the ranch and helping with the cattle. Chris was a hard worker, always pleasant and jolly. Naomi had a stroke and passed away not long afterward. Chris was rather lost. His health began to fail a little, so he moved to Washington State where he lived with his son and daughter in law, until he passed March 5, 2003 both he and Naomi are buried in the little cemetery in Apache Creek. We all missed Chris to ride with. He was one honest man.
