Theresa S. Losinski of Stevens Point died Wednesday, November 9, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 14, 1927, in the Town of Sharon at her parents' home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Wisnewski) Wojtalewicz.

Her marriage to Edward Losinski took place on June 16, 1945, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. The couple resided in the Town of Dewey for over 65 years. They celebrated 74 years of marriage before Edward's death in 2019.

Theresa was a member of St. Casimir's Church and a member of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of North County Home and Community Education. She and Edward traveled to Europe, Canada, Mexico and all 50 states. She walked on a cooled lava flow, stepped onto a glacier, and hiked the Grand Canyon. Their hobbies included camping, biking, and gardening. They attended every family event or celebration and were generous in supporting organizations that help the less-fortunate. Theresa was especially known for hosting large family meals at their home on Dewey Drive.

Her children are Mary (Ron) Zinda of Stevens Point, Myron (Judy) Losinski of Amherst, Carol (Frank) Naylor of Colorado Springs, CO., Betty (Fred) Pionek of Rosholt and Patrick (Victoria) Losinski of New Albany, OH.

Ed and Theresa were blessed with eleven grandchildren: Chad (Chrissy) Peterson, Michael (Tiffany) Losinski, Becky (Joe) Godat, Jill (Todd) Stuber, Marie (Jon) Simonson, Jenni (Dustin) Zinda-Mancl, Kelly Ackley, Tracy (Laura) Pionek, John Losinski, and Abby Losinski. They also have thirteen great-grandchildren, Chloe & Nathan Simonson, Tina, Grace & Isaac Godat, Nolan & Jackson Stuber, Keagan Ackley, Izzy & Parker Losinski, Addie Pionek, Brody & Owen Heheman and #14 expected in January.

Theresa appreciated her many visitors who were thanked with an endless supply of candy choices and hugs.

She was preceded in death by her sons-in-law, Ron Zinda and Fred Pionek, and her siblings: Tekla Hoffman, Emma Ostrowski, Roman Wojtalewicz, Alvina Marchel, Joseph Wojtalewicz, Stella Cychosz, Chester Wojtalewicz, Regina Janiszewski, Edwin Wojtalewicz, Ben Wojtalewicz, Mary Wojtalewicz, Emerick Wojtalewicz and Emil Wojtalewicz.
