CHURCH HILL - Debbie Lee Hughes, 44, of 141 Shipley Road, passed away Wednesday (November 8, 2006) at her home following an extended illness.

Debbie was a native of Calhoun, Kentucky but spent most of her life in Plano, Illinois. She had been a resident of Hawkins County for the past four years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Plano but had become a member of the baptist faith. She was a 1980 graduate of Plano High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank S. and Wanda Lee Snyder, maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Eva Snyder; paternal grandparents, Prentice and Hazel Snyder.

She is survived by her loving husband, Terry Hughes, Church Hill; one brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Bonnie Snyder, Plano, IL; two nephews, Rob Snyder and David Snyder and wife, Tracey; one niece, Marcy Glover and husband, Nate; one god-daughter, Kylie Snyder; four great nieces, Taylor, Tabi, Jadie and Peyton; two step daughters, Terrie Lynn Gardner and husband, Eddie; Stephanie Clemons and husband, Dennis; step grandson, Anthony Gardner; step granddaughter, Mykaela Clemons; mother and father-in-law, J. B. and Nella Mae Hughes, Church Hill; brother-in-law, Junior Hughes and wife, Kim and son, John Curtis, Virginia; sister-in-law, Dewanna Baksh and son, Peyton; special friends, Charles and Cindy Morelock.

Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the residence.

Services will be conducted Friday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Fain Arnold and the Rev. J. B. Hughes officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Church Hill Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Junior Hughes, Eddie Gardner. Charles Morelock, David Caldwell, John Hunt, Gary Calhoun, Bobby Snyder, Shawn Manis, David Snyder, Stanley Carter.
