She was born on Nov. 29, 1929 in Worland to Henry and Lydia (Scheuerman) Meisner. Eileen was raised and schooled in Worland where she graduated from Washakie County High School in 1947.
She married James A. Soller in Worland on Feb. 15, 1948. The couple made their home in Worland and she worked for a number of years for the Ben Franklin Store.
Eileen was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church where she participated in Bible study and was a co-chair of the church's prayer chain. She also was a member of the Rebekah's Lodge, and had helped to found the former Heart To Heart Hospice. Eileen was a former 4H leader where she helped girls with their sewing projects.
Her hobbies included reading, sewing, painting pictures, watching TV, playing the accordion, playing pinochle and doing crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Eileen is survived by her husband Jim Soller of Worland; her daughter Cheryl (Gary) Young of Worland; sons, Dennis L. Soller of Worland and Gary D. (Mary Jo) Soller of Casper; a brother, Arlon (Gayle) Meisner of Raytown, Mo.; her sister Dorothy Evans of Riverton; and by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She also has four nieces and two nephews and numerous cousins surviving her.
Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be scattered at a later date.
