WINDSOR – Cecil Clive Newcomb, 74, store keeper and gas station operator at Cambridge for the past 30 years, died at his home on Wednesday, May 5, 1961.
He is survived by his wife, Maude M. Newcomb; daughters, Margaret (Nelson) Dail, London, Ontario; Gail (James) Sinn, Florence, Cape Breton; Anne (Enos) Gavel, Cambridge; Byrne (Vernon) Burgess, Walton; Gene and Shirley at home; sons, Howard, Calgary; and John, Cambridge; three sisters, Emma (Mrs. E. Martin), in Manitoba; Miss Louise and Mavis (William) Hassing, in the United States; and a brother, Fred Newcomb, in Burma.
The funeral will be held from Cambridge Baptist Church on Friday afternoon at 2 pm, Lic. Eric Davidson conducting the service. Interment will be in Cambridge Cemetery.
