• Services for Bob Q. Ross, 64, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Samples officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Ross was born March 20, 1937, in Ardmore to W.E. and Jewel Houchin Ross. He died May 20, 2001, in Ardmore.
Married to Stella Clark Aug. 13, 1976, at Magee, Miss., he retired from the Navy after 20 years of service and was a sales manager for the American General Life Insurance Company. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of the home; four sons, David W. Ross, Pensacola, Fla., Henry Davis III and Henry Davis IV, Denton, Texas, and Matthew Roe, Springer; four daughters, Laura Debord, Springer, Karen Gurene and Martha Jones, Pensacola, and Patricia Daw, Magnolia, Miss.; three sisters, Jimmie Loewen, Winton, Calif., and Opal McPhail, Katy, Texas, and Patricia Darter, Ardmore; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Family members will serve as bearers.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
