Freddy Ray Anderson, Sr., a Astatula, FL resident and Warren County, TN native was born August 12, 1940 and passed from this life on November 2, 2022 following a short illness.
A welder, he was a member of Mount Dora Church of Christ in Mount Dora, FL, and was the son of the late Ira Hill and Amanda Dyllus McVey Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Anderson, Bob Anderson, and James Anderson, all of McMinnville, TN.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Hamby Anderson; two sons, Freddy Ray (Liz) Anderson, Jr., and James (Michelle) Anderson; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, all of Astatula, FL; sister, Linda Scott of the Centertown Community in Warren County, TN; nephew, Robert (Donna) Anderson; niece, Rachel Scott Hillis (Gary), all of Warren County, TN; and special cousin, Alta Faye Gribble of McMinnville, TN.
Per his wishes, Mr. Anderson was cremated.
A memorial service will be held in Florida.
