Elizabeth Ailene Fore, 92, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Born November 27, 1929, in Whitley County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Steely and Erma Eaton.
Ailene worked for the Franklin County School District in Ohio, for many years as a school bus driver. While there, she was affectionately known as "Granny" by students and colleagues.
Ailene especially enjoyed Gospel music and even sang in a group in past years.
In addition to her father and mother, Ailene was preceded in death by her husband, JD Fore; son, Ronnie Mason; son, Michael Mason; son, Truman Dallas Mason; granddaughter, Shannon; sister, Phyllis; and two brothers: Keith and Doug.
She leaves behind her son, Glennis Steely Mason; son, Larry Mason and wife Phyllis; seven grandchildren: Mitzi, Sheila, Bradley, Brian, Amanda, Vanessa, and Phillip; several great-grandchildren; and brother, Rick Eaton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Vernon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery.
