Elmer F. McKee, 84, of Richmond, Ind., died Tuesday, Oct. 22, at his home. Born Dec. 3, 1917, in Preble County, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Gladys M. (Wysong) McKee. Mr. McKee was a retired tool and gauge inspector at Avco Corp., Richmond, Ind., and a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Richmond, Ind.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna E. (Anderson) McKee, on Dec. 22, 2001; and a sister, Hazel Houser.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Lee Morford of Winchester, Ind.; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Marie McKee of Dundee, Ill., Kyle and Amy McKee of Richmond, Ind., Lyle and Marie McKee of Indianapolis, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 26, at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with Pastor John Walker officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.
